I see you grid some of your drawings, I would advise doing a slighted smaller grid, you'll find it really helps nail down the finer placement and sizing of eyes. And if you're feeling particularly lazy with the grid, just increase the amount of squares on the boxes that cover the eyes. Really helped me.
Do it all the time now after I gave my sister a portrait that I didn't grid and her face was a little bit wonky in places :/ still we live and learn

I hope this critique is accepted with an open mind. I see that u love drawing portraits and they are very nice, however u arent using enough dark values. Experiment with 7b, 8b, or even 9b. These will push the contrast and values of ur drawings. Charcoul can be used for the eyes to make them even more contracted. I hope this help you inprove
Yeah :/ I'm not really good at using actual sketching pencils. Normally I just use a hb mechanical pencil but I've been trying to at least start using the softer lead sketch pencils so that I can get the darker blacks. And thank you for your ideas! I actually like getting critiques because I'm teaching myself do it always helps me to get ideas and techniques from others
